Ironhack’sPrework:Design Thinking _Challenge 1
Isigned up for course by Ironhack to learn how to become a UX/UI Designer.I have a challenge that needs to be completed and handed over as a part of prework befor the course starts.
It,s about UrbanGo which is a public transit and mapping startup based in Silicon Valley. Their goal is to solve the problems of urban mobility by offering the quickest and cheapest public and private transport routes to their users.

my task is to create a feature for this app that solves the pain of having to purchase different public transport tickets by different channeles .
the task is to redesign a route-planning app to solve a common problem: buying and handling a number of different tickets for a multi-staged trip.
In order to achive goals,I took the following steps after I understood the lessons, helped a lot of videos and read articles about Design Thinking
1.Empathize :
After interviewing several people who use publik transportation , especially abroad, and asking them open ended questions , practicing Empathy, and focusing on listening rather than speaking , I was able to identify and find out what the main pain-points are (what are users having the most trouble with).
2.Define:
Although the current product of UrbanGo already solves some of the main problems of the urban mobility, there is one pain point for many users: the different amount of public transport tickets the users have to purchase.
Public transport tickets come in paper or plastic cards. Very often buying different public transport tickets is necessary to go from point A to B. And the process of buying these tickets can be very annoying (queues, vending machines that don’t work, etc.).
Finally, things like pricing or purchasing the correct ticket can become a real pain when you are abroad.
3. Ideate:
finding a solution , using brainstorming techniques to generate a lot of ideas to solve the problem. The goal is to come up with as many as possible based on my findings.
4. Prototype:
I picked the top solutions and developed it in a few hand-sketched screens so I was able to put my ideas on paper , and use what I learned in the “Sketching for User Experience Design” and “Rapid Prototyping”

The solution that I suggested are to buy the cards online according to the account that the buyer can use and save the cards digitally on the phone device, and of course provide muliple suggestions for the type of cards, is it one-way or multiple trips, provide a filter fo the best routes, the fastest transportation, the cheapest card , map for every choice whith a voice service.
I hope that I can someday practice this work. I enjoy searching and use design thinking methodes to reach the required solution and find the pain and its cure.
